Welcome to the October edition of Minds Over Matter, our quarterly Newsletter. The iMinds team would like to express its heart-felt condolences to the victims and families of the September 11th tragedies and also our gratitude to the many thousands of people who stood up in the face of disasters to make a positive contribution. While this past quarter has been a troubling time for many of us, it has also been a time of deep reflection and a time of action for others. As they say: "Out of bad, comes some good." We see this reflected in our colleagues' reactions to the September 11th events, in the care that many have shown for each other, and in the desire of most to help, even in some small way. On a global level, we have ignited a resolve to wipe out terrorism.

On a local level, here in the venture capital world and in the "trenches" of the entrepreneurial start-ups, we've seen a rethinking of priorities and a stronger determination to create teams, products, and value that can make a difference. iMinds is committed to making a difference by supporting entrepreneurs to the best of our ability through these difficult times.
