Follow on Financings
iMinds is proud to announce a number of follow on financing and other positive activity this Quarter despite the challenging market conditions.
In January, syndication software company, Kinecta raised $17 million from new investors Adobe Ventures, Granite Ventures, Fenway Partners and from existing investors, Canaan Partners, Reuters, Fidelity Ventures and iMinds Ventures. iMinds was the lead seed investor in Kinecta.
Enterprise eLearning platform and IT content leader CyberstateU.com closed a $14 million dollar Series C round of funding, led by Mellon Ventures in December. Mellon joins existing investors Sigma Partners, Compass Technology Partners, and Novus Ventures.
Supply chain integration firm, Pakana announced it had closed a $3.5m bridge financing in December and will shortly begin raising its series B round. M&A News
Community Participation sports site Eteamz, was acquired by Active.com, provider of registration services for participatory sports. Active.com was recently named a "Dot-com survivor" and is backed by Ticketmaster and Deutche Bank's ABS Ventures. Active closed over $21 million in funding in December 2000.
eCircles announced it had merged with Classmates, a Seattle-based provider of directory services with over 21 million registered members.
